THE ALFRED M. FIUME FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

The Alfred M. Fiume Foundation Scholarship is given out each year to Seniors at Rutherford High School.
Applicants must have the following:
-Pursuing a career in dentistry, mental wellness, medicine, nursing or other appropriate medical field
-Have a well-rounded balance of volunteer and community activities (just like Fred!)
-Submit a 500 word or less essay explaining their desire to be in the field and a resume/list of activities
Past recipients of the Alfred M. Fiume Scholarship have gone on to pursue Psychology, Nursing, and Medicine.
THE LIEUTENANT COLONEL FIUME SCHOLARSHIP
The Lieutenant Colonel Fiume Scholarship was established in 2019 to assist students at Rutherford High School who will be joining any branch of the military after graduation.
Applicants must have the following:
-Intent to join any branch of the United States Military
-Submit a 500 word or less essay explaining their desire to join the military and future plans and a resume/list of activities
Previous recipients have bravely joined the Army and Marines. We are honored to be able to assist these students and commend their tremendous bravery!
