OF SUICIDE LOSS DAY

Each year the Saturday before Thanksgiving, International Survivors of Suicide Loss day (Survivor Day) is held. This is sponsored by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. It is a day meant for survivors of loss to come together and find connection and hope with others.

For the past several, the Foundation has hosted Survivor Day. During our event, we have a candlelight remembrance ceremony, a remembrance tree, balloon release, a video documentary from AFSP, guest speakers, and opportunity for support, connection and peacefulness with others.
